★The exfoliation involves in the removal of dead skin cells on the skin's outermost surface.

★Exfoliation involves in all facials, during microdermabrasion or chemical peels.

ii) OXIDATION:

★Oxidation is the loss of electrons or an increase in the oxidation state of an atom by another atom,an ion or a molecule.

iii) JET STREAMS:

★Jet streams are fast flowing , narrow, meandering air currents in the atmosphere.

★Jet streams are located near the altitude of troposphere and the westerly winds.

IMPORTANCE OF JET STREAMS:

★Jet streams are important because they contribute to worldwide weather patterns and such as , they help meteorologist to forecast weather based on their position.

★In addition, they are important to air travel because flying in or out of them can reduce flight time and fuel consumption.

Exfoliation

Generally in arid regions when the rock consists of homogeneous minerals, the

thin surface layer of the rock absorbs heat during day and expands while contracts during the nights.

In a few days the rock peel of or breaks off into layers. This type of weathering is called exfoliation.

Oxidation

Oxidation is the process by which minerals present in the rocks absorb oxygen from the air this results in the formation of new chemical compounds .Oxidation is common in rocks containing iron compounds .The process of rusting of iron is an example of oxidation.

Jet streams

Jet streams refers to the narrow belt of high altitude, high speed westerly winds in the upper troposphere .They normally flow at a high speed of about 250 km per hour.
