Down by
I found
MY KINGDOM
shining water well
very little dell,
my head
gorse about
No higher than
heather and
bloom were coming out,
Some yellow and some red,
In summer
sea;
I called
little pool
little hills were big to me;
For I am very small
I made
boat,
I made
town,
I searched
caverns up and down,
- one and all
And named them
And all about was mine, I said,
little sparrows overhead,
little minnows, too.
This was
world and I was king;
For me bees came by to sing,
For me
swallows flew
Nor any
I played there were no deeper seas,
wider plains than these,
Nor other kings than me.
At last I heard my
mother call
Out from house at evenfall
To call me home to
tea.
