I am an owl.

Animals that are active during the night and passive during the day are called nocturnal animals.  The owl is a nocturnal animal whose size ranges from 13 to 75 cm. They are characterized by elongated large eyes.

They survive almost in all habitats. However, most of them may be distributed in a particular place due to the availability of the nesting sites perfect for them.

They are active during the darkness and produce hooting sounds. The hooting sound is especially produced during mating and territorial defense.

The male produces sounds to attract or to call females for copulation.
