Let, the original side of rhombus is 100cm

Original area = base × height

Original area = 100cm × 100cm

→ Original area = 10000cm²

Radius after increase = 100cm × 2

Radius after increase = 200cm

Area after increase = base × height

Area after increase = 200cm × 200cm

→ Area after increase = 40000cm²

No. of times area increase = 40000cm² - 10000cm²/10000cm²

No. of times area increase = 30000cm²/10000cm²

↬ No. of times area increase = 3 times

Area increase 3 times
