Harbhara is also known as chana. It is available in India in winter season only. In rabbi commotion we get harbhara. It grows upto 24 inches. Harbhara belongs to Turkastan. It is widely grows in India, Pakistan and Turkastan. The harbhara provides 30 kg/hector to soil. Sprouted seeds of harbhara are used as medicine for blood diseases. The malic and acetic acid obtained from green leaves can be used as remedy for stomach aliments.
