D is a point in side BC of a triangle ABC , if AD > AC ,show that AB > AC.

Basic rule- angles opposite to bigger side is bigger and in same way side opposite to bigger angle is larger in the triangle.
From figure:—
Since any point on side BC the angle opposite to it will decrease from angle CAD and thus in new triangle DAB angle ADB is greatest hence the opposite side will be biggest. Therefore AB>AD.
