D is a point on BC such that
ABD=CAD. If AB=5 cm, AD=4 cm and
AC =3 cm. Find
(i) BC (ii) DC
(iii) A(∆ACD): A(∆ BCA)​

(i)BC2=AB2-AC2

=(5)2-(3)2

=25-9 (where 2 is it is square in(i) and (ii))

=16

=√16

=√4×4

=4

(ii)DC2=AD2+AC2

=(4)2+(3)2

=16+9

=√25

=√5×5

=5

(iii) 5+3+4:4+3+5

12:12

1:1

=1
