Since, AB = AC, angABC = angACB. - 1) Now, angABC = angABD + angDBC       => angDBC = angABC - angABD       => angDBC < angABC       => angDBC < ang ACB {using 1))}       => DC < BD  ( side corresponding to larger angle is larger than side corresponding to smaller angle)
