Given : d(P,R) = 7, d(P,Q) = 10 d(Q,R) = 3

To Find : which of the point is between the other two

Solution:

d(P,R) = 7,

d(P,Q) = 10

d(Q,R) = 3

7  +  3  = 10

PR  + QR  = PQ

=> PR +RQ  = PQ

Hence R is between  PQ

P -------------7 -----------------R  -----3 ------- Q

or

Q ------3 -------R  ----------------7 ---------------P

R is between  PQ
