Hi ,

<---Q(-5 )------P(3)----------R(6)--->

D(R, P) = 6 - 3 = 3

D(P , Q) = 3 - ( -5 ) = 3 + 5 = 8

D(R, Q ) = 6 - ( -5 ) = 11

According to the problem given ,

LHS = D( R , P ) + D( P,Q )

= 3 + 8 = 11

RHS = D( R, Q) = 11

LHS = RHS

Therefore ,

Given statement is True.
I hope this helps you.

LHS = d(R,P) + d(P,Q)

= 3+8

= 11

RHS = d(R,Q) = 11

LHS = RHS

Therefore, given statement is true
