1.The importance of the discovery of agriculture in history is that it helped human beings develop settlements and civilizations and opened up more options for survival other than hunting and killing.
2.The Neolithic Revolution, also called the Agricultural Revolution, marked the transition in human history from small, nomadic bands of hunter-gatherers to larger, agricultural settlements and early civilization. ... Shortly after, Stone Age humans in other parts of the world also began to practice agriculture.
3.Because River valleys are most fertile region and the first human settlement were all done to do agriculture. The fertile soil in these regions were best suited for agriculture. Hence people first settled near river valleys.
4.Throughout history, people have bred domesticated animals to promote certain traits. Domestic animals are chosen for their ability to breed in captivity and for their calm temperament. Their ability to resist disease and survive in difficult climates is also valuable.
Agricultural communities developed approximately 10,000 years ago when humans began to domesticate plants and animals.
