- Because the instrument is shifted after the second reading, the second reading will appear in foresight while the third appears in backsight.
- The fourth reading will be seen in Intermediate mode. After the 5th reading, the instrument is relocated, causing the 5th reading to enter foresight and the 6th reading to enter backsight. The seventh and eighth readings will reach intermediate sight, while the ninth and tenth readings will enter foresight.
- As a result, the foresight readings will be 0.985, 3.455, and 1.285, respectively.
