- The main criteria for classifying organism into five kingdoms are the complexity of cells structure, body organization, the mode of nutrition, life style, and phylogenetic relationship. This system consists Monera, Protista, Fungi, Plantae, and Animalia.

Anything that possess life is called a living thing.
So, criteria to classify living things are :
- Requires energy to live or sustain existence.
- Ability to move.
- Ability to respire.
- Ability to generate energy.
- Ability to metabolize.
- Ability to respond to stimuli.
The beauty of a living thing are not the atoms that go into it, but the way those atoms are put together. The cosmos is also within us we are made of star stuff. And we are a way, for the cosmos to know itself.
