Slavs are the ethnic majority group in Europe.

• In 2002, there population was estimated around 260 million all across the globe. Mostly in the Baltic nations.
• Salvs found mention in the Byzantine Greek writings and were considered as "slovo" which means people speaking many languages.
• They were documented as the "barbarian" enemioes of the Rome and permanently settled in the forest areas.
• In the 10th Century onwards, Salvs were large in number and occupied great cultural divergence among each other. Now, they are settled in the regions of Bulgaria, Czech, Croatia, Polish, Serbian, Slovak, Russian, and many other part of North and Central asia.
