The equation for an aerobic respiration in a yeast cell is:

Glucose→Pyruvic acid→ethanol+carbon dioxide+energy

Here, glucose(C6H12O6) is a 6-C molecule which gets transformed into a 3-C molecule called pyruvic acid. This equation is comman in many cells of all organisms. In a yeast cell, this pyruvic acid breaks down into ethanol(C2H6O), carbon dioxide(CO2) and energy. This is how anaerobic respiration place in a yeast cell and provides energy o the organism.

Hope it helps you

Answer:

glucose ---->pyruvate +2 ATP -----> ethyl alcohol +carbon dioxide+ 2 atp

explanation:

when food is oxidised without using molecular oxygen the respiration is called anaerobic respiration

in this type of respiration incomplete oxidation of food takes place and in comparison to aerobic respiration much less amount of energy is produced

it also includes glycolysis which takes place in the cytoplasm

yeast anaerobic organism and it follows fermentation process.

it is a kind of anaerobic respiration in which the microorganism yeast breaks down glucose into ethyl alcohol and carbon dioxide and energy is released

glucose is a 6 carbon molecule

that is broken down into a three carbon molecule known as pyruvate or pyruvic acid when it enters the cytoplasm this process is also known as glycolysis of breaking down of glucose

then the pyruvate of pyruvic acid is converted to ethanol which is the two carbon compound and carbon dioxide by the process of fermentation

fermentation is carried out by enzyme known as zymase

hope this helped
