1. kharif crops are grown with onset of monsoon and harvested in September to October. for eg.

paddy, maize .

Rabi crops are sown in winter from October to December and harvested in summer from April to June. for eg. wheat , barley

2. food crops are mainly grown for our use on small scale. for eg. rice , wheat.

cash crops are grown for our profit and are grown on large scale . for eg. rubber , jute.
