today's match was between Delhi Daredevils and Kings XI punjab. Even though DD had only 1 win till now, they looked favorites to win at the their home ground, Feroz Shah Kotla. DD made made 5 changes in the their lineup, with coach Ricky Ponting and Captain Gautam Gambhir trying to find their best eleven.
DD won the toss and elected to bowl. KXIP were without their man in form Chris Gayle and so were restricted to 143/8. L. Plunkett made his dream debut in IPL with bowling figures 17/3 in 4overs.
In the second innings DD opened with the Under 19 world cup winning captain Prithvi Shaw and Gautam Gambhir. Shaw looked good, but DD lost some early wickets and were struggling against the KXIP spinners. Shreyas Iyer stayed till the end with 17 requiring of the last over.
KXIP captain Ashwin handed the 17yr old Mujeeb Ur Rehman to bowl the last over with Iyer on strike. Iyer smashed the 2nd bowl into the stands and then took double on the 4th bowl and a 4 on the 5th bowl. On the last bowl 5 runs were required and Iyer was still on strike. But the cheerfulness of the home crowd faded when Iyer was cought by Aron Finch. it was a thrilling match and KXIp were able to defend a low score of 143, winning on the last ball by a norrow margin of 4runs.

The match was between chennai super kings and Mumbai Indians. It was an nail biting match .CSK chased down the 166-run target in 19.5 overs with one wicket remaining , Hardik Pandya scalped Suresh Raina and Shane Watson inside Powerplay overs Mumbai Indians posted 165/4 against Chennai Super Kings Dhoni won the toss and opted to field first against Mumbai Indians .Dwayne Bravo played an innings to remember as he blasted 68 off 30 balls to help CSK beat Mumbai Indians by one wicket . And Kedar Jadhav held his nerves to score the winning runs in the penultimate ball of the innings . As on 7th april Bravo was said as man of the match who brought the magical twist in Match when all can fans lost hope of winning .
