Dear Diary,

Today I was thinking of all the wonderful travel memories of my trip to the North-East. It was a week- long trip, but just not enough to soak up the beauty of the seven sisters. We could only fit in Assam, Arunachal and Meghalaya. The expansive tea gardens and the mighty Brahmaputra in Assam, the lush hills of Arunachal, resplendent with exotic orchids and the ever cheerful tribals, and the panoramic view from Shillong point are some of the highlights of my trip. There was a lot of variation in the weather too. Assam was hot and humid, Khonsa in Arunachal was cool while Shillong was very chilly. Someday I will take at least a month off and visit the other four states too.
