Today, 27th September 2019, is the best day of my life. Mr. Ram Narayan, my mentor, my inspiration, praised my efforts to save a girl from drowning in the river. He said that “You are a real-life hero”! I am very happy to get this appreciation from an eminent personality like him.
When I was going back home from school, I noticed some unusual disturbance in the river water. Ongoing near, I saw a schoolgirl was drowning in the water. Though the water seem quite from above, it has strong currents running inside.
I learned swimming last year and know how to dodge the active water currents. I instantly dived and brought the girl out of water. Though her lungs were filled with water, the doctors managed to save her on time.
Everyone in the village was praising me including Mr. Ram Narayan. I will never forget this day in my entire life.
