"Dala farmer-labor in Palampur is been exploited by large farmers due to the competition for the job. The principle violated by the "large farmer" in this scenario is the minimum wage for farm work.
Due to non-availability of self-land, people like Dala works as a farm laborer in the farm of big farmers for daily wages. Due to heavy competition for the job, the big framers hire the farm laborer for minimum wages of Rs.35 - Rs.40 per day, whereas according to the government rule the wage for farm laborer for one day is Rs.60.
Such type of injustice can be corrected by taking proper legal action on big farmers who hire them for low wages and also by increasing employment opportunity for such kind of people by the government."
