Dalton’s atomic theory says that atoms are indivisible. In this statement still valid? Give reasons for your answer.

Yes, we can say that it is true till a certain extent. Atoms can be sub-divided into protons, neutrons and electrons but none of the three are capable of individual existence. So, atoms are the smallest particles that are capable of individual existence and cannot be divided further into particles that can exist indepently
