The eastern coastline of India gets damaged due to floods arising from the Damodar river (also called the river of sorrow for the same reason) because of the eastern temperate cyclones coming from Russia and Siberia. Indian state of Odisha is hard hit every year and farmers also face a lot of problems due to such regular floods and meteorological (climatic) changes.
