1. Draw the rectangle. Label the dimensions.
2. V = L*W*H substitute in the values for the dimensions and the volume.
3. Multiply the factors and then set the equation equal to zero.
4. Using the Fundamental Theorem of Algebra, Rational Root Theorem and the Factor Theorem, factor the polynomial. Use Descartes Rule of signs, to eliminate possible roots.
5. Write the dimensions and check that they are accurate.
