Answer:Dandi March began in March 1930 in Dandi to abolish the salt tax which was imposed by British. It was an important part of the Indian Independence movement. This nonviolent campaign was initiated and lead by Gandhi ji. It triggered the British Disobedient movement which created a sense of nationalism in Indian citizens. The movements were later joined by many people, including leaders, businessmen, pageants, middle class, etc. The salt law was broken and this ignited the spark of nationalism in India to fight for Purna Swaraj, and the British faced large scale disobedience from the Indians.
