Daniel buys one loaf of bread costing £1.18 one tub of spread costing 94p two jars of strawberry jam. Daniel pays with a £5 note. He gets 30p change. Work out the cost of one jar of strawberry jam.

Deniel Buys 1 Loaf Of Bread For £1.18

and Buys 1 tub of spread for 94p

And Buys 2 bars of strawberry jam coasting x

So He Gave a £5 Note and got change of 30p

1.18+0.94+x=5-0.3

=1.18+0.94+x=4.7

=2.12+x=4.70

--> x= 2.52

Two jars of strawberry costs 2.52£

so 1 jar cost = 2.52÷2 = 1.26£
