Daniel is painting the wall and ceiling of a cuboidal hall with Length breadth and height of 15 metre 10 metre and 7 respectively from each can of paint hundred square of area is painted how many cans of paint will she need to paint the room​

height of room = 7 mtr

find out the requirement of paint cans if 100m² can be painted by a can

Solution:-

as we know that a room has 4 walls and a roof also so no. of surfaces is 5

as room is cuboid shape that's why alternate walls of the room have the same area so

=> 2(15×7+10×7) 7 is height of the room it means sides have same height

=> 2(105+70)

=> 2(175)

=> 350

also room has a roof

so

area of ceil is = 15×10 = 150

now total area is= 350+150 = 500m²

can required is = 500/100 = 5 cans
