of them were red and the rest were blue. There were 30 more blue roses than red roses. How many roses did she have altogether

Then

No of red roses=3x/8.

No of blue roses = 5x/8.

ATQ,

3x/8+30 = 5x/8

3x+240 = 5x

2x = 240
