Bonjour!¡

ANSWER:

Time taken by Danish = 5/12 = 0.41 hrs

Time taken by Sister = 3/4 = 0.75 hrs

Danish's sister takes more time.

Time difference = 3/4 - 5/12

= 9/12 - 5/12

= 4/12

= 1/3 hours

• Danish makes me remember Danish Zehen.

His sister takes 20 minutes or \frac{1}{3} \: hours more time than his brother in completing English homework.

Given:-

Danish complete English homework in 5 by 12 hours

His sister complete English homework in 3 by 4 hours

To Find:- Who takes more time to complete the work and how much

Solution:-

Danish complete English homework in hours =  \frac{5}{12}

As we know 1 hour = 60 mins

Danish complete English homework in minutes=

 \frac{5}{12}  \times 60 \\  = 25

= 25 minutes

His sister complete English homework in hours =

 \frac{3}{4}

His sister complete English homework in minutes=

 \frac{3}{4}  \times 60 \\  = 45

= 45 minutes

His sister takes more time in completing English homework =

45 - 25 = 20 \:  minutes\\  =  \frac{20}{60}  \: hours \\  =  \frac{1}{3}  \: hours

Hence, His sister takes 20 minutes or \frac{1}{3} \: hours more time than his brother in completing English homework.
