Dara Shikoh established friendly relations with Guru Har Rai, the 7th Sikh Guru. Dara Shikoh made huge efforts to develop a common language between Islam and Hinduism. Upanishads were translated by Dara Shikoh into Persian in 1657. Sirr-e-Akbar which means the greatest Mystery was the title given to this translation.
