It was a dark night. Mom went out to the market but as because it was raining she perhaps went to her friend's house for a night. I was all alone in my house. I opened the television and began watching 'The Conjuring'. What a horror movie it was! It was thundering and lightening all night. The most horror part of the conjuring made cool breeze run down my spine. Someone knocked the door. I was astonished and decided not to open the door. I was very scared although to open the door. "I will not open the door." I said loudly when he knocked again. He kept on knocking. I went hastily and opened the door. He was a boy of my age. His clothes were rags held together by sticks. I offered him my house as shelter. I closed the T.V. I offered him and myself some food which was in the kitchen cabinet. Soon, we both became friends and when Mom came back I told her everything. She agreed to let the boy stay with us.
