Darnell's baseball team always does warm-ups before a game. Before last week's game, Darnell did 50 knee lifts in 2 minutes. Today, he will do knee lifts for 3 minutes.
If he does them at the same rate, how many knee lifts will Darnell do today?

Answer:

Use the unitary method.

50/2 = 25.

This means that in 1 minute Darnell does 25 knee lifts.

Therefore in 3 minutes he will do -

3×25 = 75 knee lifts.
