Darwin's theory can be related to our everyday life by the fact that a student who has interest in studies is usually the one who also makes standing in the class.
It means that he has adapted to the circumstances in a better way to one who does not like to study and has a higher chance of failure. If for instance, I have to get into the army, I must be physically fit so that I can pass the army's rigorous tests.
Darwin's theory can be applicable here also as I would be going for regular exercises and try to make myself fit for the job. One who doesn't will have a higher chance of failure in the tests.
