These are the steps that you can follow to change the size of the content of the story board :

1. There is an even simpler fix starting with Xcode 5. You may navigate to the fifth tab in the UI Storyboard by simply selecting your UI View Controller.
2. Simply switch from Fixed to Freeform in the Simulated Size field. The width and height fields should appear after that.
3. Choose your view controller, then choose the size option of "freeform" in Interface Builder's fourth tab.
4. You may now adjust the size of the primary view inside your UI View Controller after choosing freeform.
