Then, 1/3 of the solution is taken out

Total quantities of water replaced = 1/2 + 1/3 + 1/4 + 1/20

= 30/60 + 20/60 + 15/60 + 3/60

= (30+20+15+3)/60

= 68/60

= (20) - 68/60

= (1200-68)/60

= 1132/60
