Answer:

Revenge is a word that generally depicts negative meanings.

Explanation:

Revenge is both noun and verb. It means to do an action of hurting or harming someone in return for an injury or wrong suffered at their hands.  It  is a kind of justice enacted in the absence or defiance of the norms of formal law and jurisprudence. Often it is related as a harmful action against a person or group in response to a grievance perceived by them.

A person who seeks out revenge is called vengeful. The word vengeful is used to describe the feelings of revenge someone has toward another person or group who has done them wrong in the past.

However revenge can never be justified morally or socially.
