Given that,

Force F_{A}= 3.0\times10^{-6}\ N

Distance between A and B = 2 cm

Distance between B and C = 1 cm

According to figure,

We need to calculate the charge

Using formula of force

F_{A}=\dfrac{kq^2}{r^2}

Put the value into the formula

3\times10^{-6}=\dfrac{kq^2}{2^2}

12\times10^{-6}=kq^2

We need to calculate the electric force C exert on B

Using formula of force

F_{B}=\dfrac{kq^2}{r^2}

F_{B}=\dfrac{12\times10^{-6}}{1^2}

F_{B}=12\times10^{-6}\ N

The direction of force is along BA.

We need to calculate the net electric force on B

Using formula of net force

F_{net}=F_{B}-F_{A}

Put the value into the

F_{net}= (12-3)\times10^{-6}\ N

F_{net}=9\times10^{-6}\ N

Hence, (I). The electric force C exert on B  is 12\times10^{-6}\ N along BA

(II). The net electric force on B is 9\times10^{-6}\ N
