so, 20+x = 40

x= 40-20

x=20 gm

Percent of concentration would be

$\begin{gathered}\dfrac{20}{20+60}\times 100\\\\=\dfrac{20}{80}\times 100\\\\=\dfrac{1}{4}\times 100\\\\=25\%\end{gathered}$

Hence, percent of concentration is 25% and 20 gm of sugar has to be added.
