September 22,1994:: This incident had taken place in jalangi. it made lots of people homeless according to the statement given by the officers it is estimated around 102 houses wiped out - 12000 people became homeless and 5000 hectors of agriculture land was spoiled in this incident
The administration took an immediate action but measures were not taken by the district .
