It is always easier to define dates for events in political history. There are two main questions to be asked in history that is when did the event occur and how did it occur or why was the reason it occurred, dates help answer the question when did it happen and events in history help is answer the question why did it happen or what really happened at that time.
Dates serve as marks on history but events act as pieces of information of what happens on that day or date.
