Resources ,which can be renewed either naturally or by human efforts, are known as renewable or

inexhaustible resources.Ex- Solar energy, Air,Water

2. Non- Renewable or Exhaustible resources:-

Resources which take millions of years to form or renew, are known as Non- Renewable or Exhaustible

Resources.

Ex- Coal,Petroleum,Natural Gas.

Classification based on Origin.-:

1.Biotic Resources -:

Resources which are obtained from biosphere and have life (living beings),are known as biotic resources.

Answer:

Human wants are many, and we humans mainly turn to natural resources to fulfill these very needs.

Explanation:

We need energy to get many things done, like cooking, washing, traveling, etc. The resources that help us create energy can be broadly divided into two types:

  • Renewable resources are those naturally found resources that we can use as much as we want because they would not end or get depleted. Eg Wind energy and solar energy.
  • Non-renewable resources, on the other hand, have to be used mindfully as we have only a limited supply of them and they will get depleted. Eg. wood and coal.

Alternatively, renewable resources are also known as inexhaustible resources, and non-renewable resources are also called exhaustible resources.
