Given :-

♦ David brought

  • 4L 300 ml milk
  • 3L 250 ml butter milk

♦ Saroj brought

  • 4L 800 ml milk
  • 3L 250 ml butter milk

Firstly we have to convert all the units into same units in either Litres or ml to measure which is greater.

4L 300 ml → milli litres

As we know that 1L = 1000 ml

Similarly

4(1000) + 300

4000 + 300

4L 250 ml → 4300 ml

3L 250 ml → ml

3(1000) + 250

3000 + 250

3L 250 ml → 3250 ml

Now, adding those

4300 ml + 3250 ml = 7550 ml

______________________________

4L 800 ml → ml

4(1000) + 800

4L 800 ml → 4800 ml

__________________

4L 400 ml → ml

4(1000) + 400

4L 400 ml → 4400 ml

__________________

Now , adding those

4800 + 4400 ml = 9200 ml

_____________________________

Now , comparing those two which are brought by David & Saroj

7550 ml < 9200 ml

David < Saroj or Saroj > David

Hence , Saroj brought more that David .
