Distance: 1845 miles

Time: 2.25 hours

Speed is simply distance over time (distance/time)

So the equation would be 1845 miles/2.25 hour=820MpH

To check that this is true:

820MpH*2.25 hours=1845 miles

Answer:

2.27 hours

Explanation:

One half the distance here means 1/2 of 1680= 840 miles

For the first half, Speed= distance / time

=> time= distance / speed

840/672= 1.25 hours.

For second half

Time = 840÷816

= 1.02 hours.

Hence total time taken = 1.25+1.02

= 2.27 hours.
