David was assigned a lot of homework. He starts reading homework at 3:45 p.m. and ends at 4:30 p.m. and maths from 4:30 p.m. until 5 p.m. Lastly he studies for a science test from 5 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. How much time did David spend completing assigned tasks?

iVxsoz: 345+45 is 4:30. Plus 30 is 75. Plus an extra 30 minutes. That equals 105. Convert that into time, and you have 1 hour and 45 minutes. And to check, you can add 15 to 105 to get 120, making that two hours. I hope this helps you :)
