Total cost = 450
total income= 450×118/100= 531
if 4 dozen of orange rotten
then selling price per dozen orange will be
531/(50-4) = 531/46 ₹ 11 25/46= ₹11.54( approx).

Answer:

Rs 577.17

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

Price of purchasing 1 dozen oranges  =450

No.of dozens oranges are rotted = 4

To   earn profit = ?

To  find: Selling rate of oranges

Price of purchasing =  50 *   450

So, the price after getting the 18%  profit

=>  118/100*22500

=>  26550

No. of dozens rotten oranges = 4

Therefore,

Remaining oranges = 50-4

                                 = 46

Selling rate of oranges  = 26550/46

                                       = Rs 577.17

Therefore,  Wamiq should sell the oranges at the rate of 577.17  dozen to make a profit of 18%.
