I am thinking in future it may happen
De-extinction is the process of reviving the the extinct species. In my opinion, It can help in doing so. Revived species may support conservation initiatives by acting as flagship species to generate public enthusiasm and funds for conserving entire ecosystems. It is possible as it had been done before. A current candidate for de-extinction is the Woolly Mammoth. Besides using our powers to bring back charismatic species, de-extinction could restore vital functions that these lost animals performed, and thus benefit other inhabitants of their ecosystem. An example is :-
In 2003, a team of Spanish and French scientists brought back an animal from extinction. The animal revived was a kind of wild goat known as bucardo or Pyrenean ibex.
