Solution -

Let x be the marked price.

since discount = 12%

Selling price SP = 88% of marked price = 88% of x

                         = 88x/100 --------------------1

Since, after selling the music system, dealer makes a profit of 10%

SP = CP + %P * CP ---------------------as %P = (SP - CP) / CP

      = 15320 + 10/100 * 15320

      = Rs 16852 -----------------------2

Equating equation 1 and equation 2

16852 = 88x/100

x = 16852 * 100 / 88

   = Rs 19150

Answer - The marked price of the music system is Rs 19150.
