Letter to Bapu for struggle for Independence and inspiration to me :
Dear Bapu,
I am very glad that I have got this wonderful opportunity to write this promising letter to you.
I just want to say that I follow your wonderful doctrine preaching the voice of the universe -- An eye for an eye makes the world blind. From that day, I have come to know that whatever the reasons be violence is never a solution to the hardest questions thrown to us by difficulties. People may say -- How is that possible? The only answer I can give is that -- Read the life of Bapu.
Often while talking to my friends, we use a tone to change the world and at that very moment, I remember your words -- To make the change, be the change. These words redirect to self - improvements which is the most important factor of all. If we do not modify the inner us, there is no chance where we be able to speak out for others.
You were a barrister by profession and you could have lived a luxurious and wealthy life but you chose to lead India with other great freedom fighters as well as South Africa to form a Republic country. You not only committed as a freedom fighter but also you showed a better path for Indians to follow, the path of non - violence. Your life taught us to live simple and to be peaceful from within.
When I was in high school, I read a writing of yours experimenting with Truth. In modern world, to live a saintly life by following the path of Truth is as hard as breaking the hills with a knock. The fact is that you did overcome it. That is from where inspirations came.
In your life, you struggled to bring freedom by leading a nation like India just with holy words. Freedom came with the help of swords too but your path also made it easier to come.
We call you -- Bapu, the Father of the Nation. What does it mean? Your life doesn't only mean that we respect you by all heart but your works also guide us to live a beautiful life provided to us by Almighty and for that we are thankful to you, Bapu.
