Dear Ben,
I haven't been getting good grades at school lately. I study hard to
prepare for tests and exams, but I don't do as well as my friends.
Sometimes I feel like giving up. What's the point of being
hardworking if my grades don't improve?

Explanation:

the reason you don't score good marks is that, you think that you will never be able to score as much marks your friends scoress..

So, first thing you must keep in mind that you have to motivate yourself, give yourself a push towards your goal...

You might study hard, but you don't study smart...

It is said that you must study at least 5 hours of the day... but that doesn't mean that continuous studying will help...

Our body, our brain needs break.. so if you study for 1 hour, give yourself a 15 minutes break.. this will keep you fresh and active..

And one more thing, marks doesn't matters... the thing that matters is that the concepts, the theories and everything you study, you are understanding it or not...

I just hope you got it... and it will help you..
