Is removal of undigested food frm d body considered to be excretion? why?

The process of removal of undigested food from the body is called egestion. It occurs through an opening called anus. Excretion is the process of removal of metabolic wastes like urea,ammonia or uric acid from the body. It is done by the excretory system.
