hlo mate...

it is...

phospholipid bilayer arranged back-to-back. The membrane is also covered in places with cholesterol molecules and proteins. The plasma membrane is selectively permeable and regulates which molecules are allowed to enter and exit the cell.

Plasma membrane regulates the entry and exit ofcell. It regulates the molecular traffic in the cell. Many molecules cross the cell membrane by osmosis and diffusion. The proteins which are present in the plasma membrane act as pumps, receptors, channels, enzymes or structural components.

hope it helps ✌

each cell is surrounded by a plasma membrane or cell membrane.

its functions are:

  • it gives shape to the cell
  • it regulate the entry of certain solutes and ions.
  • it separates contents of cell from its surroundings
